In case you were wondering...

In case you were wondering...

This blog exists to encourage all those who have ever wanted--and needed!--a tiny getaway close to home. A workshop, playhouse, garden shed, sanctuary, mini-greenhouse, studio, home office; whatever it is you need, it IS doable, with some sacrifice, imagination, and compromise.

It helps if you're handy, too.

  1. I love that little skillet! I bet that muffin smelled divine in the shed! Tell me about that skillet... I'm a blacksmith and love stuff like that.

  2. It is a very cool skillet...it's tin-lined copper, and the handle folds back over the bowl so you can pack it with you.

  3. Very cool skillet, looks hand wrought. Handle looks long enough to use over a campfire or to roast chestnuts in the fireplace.

The photos of the shack look cozy even with the snow...beautiful

  4. It is indeed, Joan, it was made for me by a friend. It's tin-lined copper with a steel handle, and it is meant to be used over a fire. Good eye!
