In case you were wondering...

In case you were wondering...

This blog exists to encourage all those who have ever wanted--and needed!--a tiny getaway close to home. A workshop, playhouse, garden shed, sanctuary, mini-greenhouse, studio, home office; whatever it is you need, it IS doable, with some sacrifice, imagination, and compromise.

It helps if you're handy, too.

April at the Shed...

Sunset through the back window...

My herb tea mixture...

Old, old yellow tulips planted before my time...

We made a new seating area around the seldom-used firepit...I suspect it will see a lot more use now.

Happy!

Looks like it's in the midst of a forest rather than between two houses...
LOTS of violets...

  2. Thanks Paul, I'm really tired of being too busy! I want to pay more attention to the things that feed me, and this is one of them.

  3. What a lot of sweet photos. The firepit looks like it will be a great place to relax on an evening, too. Definitely spring your way. Enjoyed seeing the cats, too. :)

    1. I think it will be, Rita...I just wish we had a privacy fence there. I'm SUCH an introvert!

    1. And it's lovely that it's only a few feet from our back door so I can get there every day.
