Great light by the door. And your Buddha spot--love that he's smiling! The laughing and smiling Buddhas are my favorites. Keep tweaking! :)

ReplyDeleteThere are a number of legends about that particular figure...he is supposed to represent, among other things, contentment. Some say he brings luck and wealth, but I prefer the alternate--he's often shown with a cloth sack that represents how little he owns, and he's smiling because it is enough.
That twisted wood was an old fence post, isn't it cool?
