This blog exists to encourage all those who have ever wanted--and needed!--a tiny getaway close to home. A workshop, playhouse, garden shed, sanctuary, mini-greenhouse, studio, home office; whatever it is you need, it IS doable, with some sacrifice, imagination, and compromise.
It helps if you're handy, too.

Is there a link to the map or are you just telling us about it? I'd love to live near a woods and have wildlife, besides birds, visit. Don't want any mountain lions or bears though.
ReplyDeleteJoan, it's http://www.mapquest.com/ It has a satellite feature.
ReplyDeleteI plan to do a little sketch, Joan! I did one for the front of A Naturalist's Cabin, and I think for One Square Mile--but of course those were of someplace miles from here. It was fun seeing the area from the air with Mapquest!
