Either of these are small, efficient, and relatively safe...LOVE the big burning window on the Squirrel. (OK, I like the name, too...I'm really fond of those silly creatures!

ReplyDeleteI think the first one is cutest but it is really tiny if as they say, the piping is 3". But it is cute!
ReplyDeleteIt IS really tiny, Timaree, I saw a photo of it with a woman kneeling by it to put on a teapot. The pot covered the whole top of the stove!
ReplyDeleteAnd Rita, mostly this would be backup, and we have a lot of downed wood, twigs, branches, etc. plus scraps left from construction. I don't know if anyone cuts wood small enough to fit the Pipsqueak, but then it appears only to be in the UK anyway...
