When I built the cabin I was over 20 years younger and if nothing was happening I'd go MAKE it happen. I had my own 16-ounce hammer, a toolbelt, the whole thing, and I'd just get to work. Now I mostly watch and do small stuff...meh!

Laura, I thought of painting something there! Deciding WHAT will be the main problem. We'll get the trim on the doors and windows first and probably get it stained, then see what it needs or what inspires me! I thought maybe a greenman...Kate (Cathy Johnson)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03296053923338246127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1230321197387724788.post-9914683350167679602010-06-22T07:46:03.015-07:002010-06-22T07:46:03.015-07:00Thank you, MaryO! What if you painted a longish vertical rectangular shape around the front window in a color like indigo or some dark or dark-to-midtone shade ( a green?) that would draw the eye downward a bit---that could add a wonderful graphic touch to the exterior and make the window seem lower.Laurahttp://www.laurelines.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1230321197387724788.post-61502409598691195502010-06-22T07:19:00.747-07:002010-06-22T07:19:00.747-07:00This is just so wonderful!
